Are you aware that Hunter Region has been earmarked as a major weapons manufacturing hub?

Astra Aerolab is the site being developed next to Newcastle Airport to house weapons companies complicit in genocide and other war crimes.

Missiles are scheduled to be manufactured for export as soon 2027. This site is primarily for earning export dollars not for defence.

Port Stephens and Newcastle councils own the lands this weapons precinct is being developed on and will profit from this. 

We are a group of concerned citizens opposed to this. Newcastle and Port Stephens deserve better!

We want a transition to CLEAN ENERGY, not weapons exports.
